For twenty-two years I worked as a nurse, caring for people through some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Every summer, my husband and I walked through Toronto’s Distillery District. The little boutiques. The warm lights. The feeling of slowing down for a moment.

Eight years ago, a small boutique space became available there.

My husband looked at me across the kitchen table and didn’t say a word. He didn’t have to.

I handed in my notice. My younger sister Ivy joined me. And on a rainy October morning, we opened Lynn & Ivy for the very first time.

Now we’re entering a new chapter.
